What's Up Wednesday!

Wednesday, May 30, 2018

What we're eating this week...
Because it's the first week of summer vacation, I haven't planned a thing!  We ate a sheet pan last night and I'll basically be flying by the seat of my pants until I grocery shop again.  During the school year, I grocery shop on Fridays, but during the summer I like to grocery shop on Monday mornings :)

What I'm reminiscing about...
I cannot think of a single thing I'm reminiscing about.  Is that awful?

What I'm loving...
My husband!!  If you read my post from Friday about our miscarriage, then you know I've been very dependent upon him lately.  He has been extra gracious to me in my grieving and we've spent a lot of extra time together intentionally--and I've loved every minute of it!

What we've been up to...
Honestly, not much of anything because our lives and schedules have revolved around IVF. But we've got lots of things planned for this summer that I'm excited about!

What I'm dreading...
Nothing at the moment!!

What I'm working on...
Yesterday I posted my summer goals.  I think my main one this summer is just getting back into shape and being able to work out consistently.

What I'm excited about...
Having the summer off!

What I'm watching/reading...
This is really embarrassing, but after watching the royal wedding and not really knowing anything about Meghan Markle, I started watching Suits on Amazon Prime.  I'M OBSESSED!  It's such a great show and I'll be finished with all 7 seasons next week haha!!

I'm reading the Canadian West series currently, but that's been put on hold until I finish Suits haha!

What I'm listening to...
Suits....I'm telling y'all, I'm obsessed!

What I'm wearing...
This is what the end of the school year for a teacher looks like:
 top | jeans

 top and bottom: Matilda Jane

top | bottoms: Matilda Jane

What I'm doing this weekend...
I've got some girl time planned....and watching Suits 🙈

What I'm looking forward to next month...
An entire month of nothing to do with school!!  I have a week long workshop in July, so June is going to be a month where I think only of summer!

What else is new...
Not much!

I'm so glad that you and D are getting extra time together and that he's being so good to you. You both deserve grace, love and comfort right now and I think it's wonderful that you're getting that time together for healing and growth together.
