Friday Faves!

Friday, March 2, 2018

Happy Friday, y'all!  Let me just tell y'all--it has rained nonstop here for the last couple of days.  We've been under a flood warning, and I'm pretty sure I don't remember what the sun looks like ha!

It's Friday and I'm sharing some of my FAVORITES with y'all!

I love pampering myself.  I love getting facials and massages.  Yesterday I had a facial after school and it was the most heavenly thing ever!  I left feeling super relaxed and my skin feeling so refreshed.  If you've never had a facial, I highly suggest you treat yourself to one soon!

Can I just say that Mallory Ervin is my favorite?!  I haven't watcher her baby shower vlog yet because I'm waiting until I'm at the gym, but I love her IG stories from her insane baby shower!

Dustin is FB friends with his advisor from Auburn and she read our infertility story.  A couple of months ago she messaged him asking my favorite color.  I had forgotten all about that until she asked for our address the other day.  I got the package in the mail this week and opened it, and she had knitted me a prayer shawl!  It was the sweetest and kindest thing someone has done for me since opening up about the suffering we are experiencing.  I mean, I haven't expected anyone to do anything for us (or me) during this time and the fact that people are even praying for us is overwhelming, but to know that a lady that I don't even know thought enough of me to make me something means so much to me!

And because last Friday I said I would try to share a favorite song each week, this is my song for this week!  I LOVE LOVE LOVE The Avett Brothers!  I saw them in concert two years ago with my bff and I really want to see them again.  This is one of my favorite songs they've written!

  4. I have always wanted to learn how to knit or crochet to be able to hand-make people gifts like these for various reasons. They mean so much when you receive them because you know this women didn't just run to the store to buy it. She had you in mind the whole time!! So so so sweet and thoughtful of her. I would have cried when I opened something like that! haha.

  10. Awww, that's amazing of Dustin's advisor! What a gift!!!! I had a massage and facial on Monday, and it was one of my favorite facials ever. I thought there was no way that my skin could look fresh and bright after winter but it worked!
