What's Up Wednesday--November 2017

Wednesday, November 22, 2017

I missed last month's What's Up Wednesday because it was my birthday so I'm glad to be participating in today's!

This post contains affiliate links at no extra cost to you!  Thank you for supporting Meet the Shaneyfelts blog!

What we're eating this week...
Monday night we ate an easy crockpot spicy chicken and corn recipe and last night we ran through the Krystal's drive thru because we were rushing to the Galaxy of Lights--last minute decision which means I didn't have to make supper--oh yeah!

Tonight is our first Thanksgiving and it's with the Shaneyfelts and tomorrow is my dad's side and then my mom's.  I'll be in a food coma all day Friday and won't be eating any šŸ˜œ

What I'm reminiscing about...
Sunday night we went to listen to my sister sing in her praise band at her church--which is our old church.  I loved hearing my sister sing, but I really loved seeing everyone again!!  We've really missed our friends at our old church so it was really nice to see everyone again.  And aren't my mom and sister gorgeous?!

What I'm loving...
EVERYTHING CHRISTMAS!!  (even though I know it's still November)  I have been loving all of the Hallmark Christmas movies, having my Christmas decorations up already, listening to Christmas music.  I understand some people are very anti-Christmas before Thanksgiving, and I totally get that.  BUT I think that if it makes someone happy to enjoy Christmas early, then why not let them?

Another thing I'm loving was brought to my attention Monday by a really sweet blog reader!  Dustin and I went to a charity ball Saturday night and someone commented and said the dress I wore was the same one in Saturday's Hallmark Christmas movie.  I Googled it and IT WAS!

Literally made. my. week.

What we've been up to...
I went to visit my best friend and we made iced sugar cookies for the first time.

Dustin and I went to The PFK Butterfly Ball

Last night we went to the botanical gardens and walked the Galaxy of Lights!

What I'm dreading...
Nothing!

What I'm working on...
I know this sounds awful but I can't think of anything I'm working on?  I guess blog stuff?

What I'm excited about...
Today starts Thanksgiving break and I'm really excited about Christmas break coming up because it's over 2 weeks long!  Oh, and I'm excited to start the She Reads Truth Advent study this year--it's always my favorite!

What I'm watching/reading...
Watching LOTS of Hallmark Christmas movies, This Is Us, Grey's

Currently not reading anything--too many Hallmark movies have my attention!  I've got a Jane Green book on my nightstand I need to start this break.

What I'm listening to...
Sheologians podcast--if you've watched my IG stories, you've seen how obsessed I am with it.  These girls are very solid theologically.

What I'm wearing...
 top | leggings

 sweater (old) | skirt

sweater | jeans | boots

What I'm doing this weekend...
Black Friday shopping with my mom and watching the Iron Bowl--ROLL TIDE!!
