Friday Favorites + A Life Lately

Friday, December 23, 2016

Merry Christmas Eve Eve!  I cannot believe that Christmas is only two days away....where has the month gone?!  Our family Christmases start tomorrow night, so I'll spend today getting my hair done (oh yeah!) and baking a few goodies for tomorrow.  With that being said, here's a little Friday Favorites/Life Lately update!

I started the week off finishing up some last minute shopping.  I bought these shoes over Thanksgiving break and they are a new favorite to wear with leggings.  Also a favorite?  Red nails!

I usually buy all of my wrapping paper from Hobby Lobby but this year I wasn't feeling the drive or the crowds.  I ended up picking this up at Target and I love how fun it is!  Everyone is getting a gift with little red truck wrapping paper haha!

I received this beautiful ornament from Emily in the mail!!  I love the simplicity of it....definitely a favorite!

IG stories are my favorite!  (@saraheshaneyfelt)  I could do an IG all day every day haha!  I posted this and my wrapping station actually stayed there for three days because that's how long it took me to wrap everything.  #giftbagsnextyear

We went and looked at Christmas lights this week on our annual Shaneyfelt Christmas Light Drive By.  Next year we decided not to wait so long to look at lights.

Ole Shaneyfelt snapped this of me Wednesday morning....still wrapping presents!  It was nice to have a morning together where we hung out (aka I wrapped) and watched The Today Show by the fire.
P.S. Getting my roots done today!

We also had coffee at my favorite coffee place downtown.

Real life: I was thirsty the other night and didn't want my usual...water.  I had a huge craving for a strawberry limeade.  So in my pajamas (and blardigan), we went to Sonic!  Also, trying to dry a few clothes and had my ice cream coffee cup from earlier :)  Christmas break, right!

  3. That wrapping paper is too dang cute! I refrained from buying any this year in hopes I would use up all I had including some ugly paper I have no earthly idea why I bought. Thankfully I found some plaid ribbon that ended up making it look so much better. My bedroom floor looks the same as your living room...hoping to finish wrapping this morning. Blardigan for the win! Merry Christmas!

  10. I usually search out two or three wrapping papers I really like...I'm annoyingly particular about it!
#Christmasbreak is right. It's a whole different world.

  11. I hope you like your ornament! I figured it was neutral enough for your tree...at least I was hoping. :) PJ Sonic runs are sometimes just necessary.
