November Goals

Wednesday, November 2, 2016

I had started this post Sunday night with the intention of finishing Monday night and posting Tuesday morning.  Then Monday morning I got the call that my grandfather (my only living grandfather) had been taken to the hospital late Sunday night with a few health issues.  Then Monday afternoon the doctors found a brain bleed and he had surgery on his brain last night.  Needless to say, I feel like I have been at the hospital way too much lately...first with Dustin's issues and now this.  Please pray that my grandfather recovers well from his surgery!

P.S. I've never done a monthly goals post before but thought it would be fun to try one month!

November Goals
-Take pictures for our Christmas card
-Make a list of everyone we are buying for for Christmas
-Make a dish for each Thanksgiving we attend
-Run long runs every Saturday
-Exercise 3x a week (at least)
-Finish watching Downton Abbey (almost there!)

  4. Praying for your grandpa right now! My husband's grandfather had the same issue a few weeks ago and had a surgery and then a second one last week. He is doing great, and I'll pray the same for your grandpa!

Good goals, nothing too crazy so they are things you can easily accomplish! :) How is Downton coming? Where are you at now?

  9. Prayers for your grandfather. I know you have had your share of hospitals lately so I pray for a full and speedy recovery for him.

Great goals. I have taking our Christmas card photos and selecting and ordering the cards on mine as well as to start my Holiday shopping. I do an at home exercise program most days and it makes it so super easy to squeeze it in while dinner is in the oven or Madeline is napping or really any time I have 30 free minutes!

  14. Sorry to hear about your Grandpa and am praying for a speedy recovery! Hope you can avoid any family in the hospital for a long time now. Love your goals and am working on many of the same. We're getting family pictures done next week and I'm anxious to make our cards. I like your goal of bringing something to each of your Thanksgiving gatherings. I think I'll volunteer to make pies :)
