Friday Favorites!

Friday, January 29, 2016

Yay Yay Yay for Friday!!!!

This week has felt so long!  Literally yesterday I woke up thinking, "It's only Thursday?!?!"  But I'm thankful for another weekend where I can rest and renew myself (and get a lot of things done!).

ONE

This guy obsessing over our tax stuff is a FAVORITE of mine.  I'm so glad I married someone who cares as much as he does!  When I had to file my own taxes, I pretty much just gathered what I could find and called it a day.  Anyone else out there like me??

TWO

Dustin's hunting stuff had been in the floor by the chest of drawers in our room for over a week.  I cannot stand having clothes in the floor--definitely not a FAVORITE.  I finally told him to do something with his hunting stuff, and he did.  A few days later I had to look in the closet under the stairs and I looked to the left and found his hunting stuff...

THREE

My MIL called last night telling us to use their Kroger points on gas because they were about to expire for the month.  We both happened to be on empty, so we went to fill up our cars.  Do you see how much we paid per gallon of gas???  It cost $29.50 to fill up my car and his truck!  Definitely my FAVORITE moment of the week!  Thanks, Jackie!

FOUR

A store I shop at downtown is closing.  Yesterday they started their going out of business sale.  I couldn't resist buying these things, and I'll be going back when they mark things down even more!  There were a few things I wanted but decided I could wait a little longer.  Placing these throughout my house yesterday was a FAVORITE!

Linking up with Andrea today!

  3. Ugh taxes.. I do them myself and they are always such a pain. Probably going to enlist my dad's help this year since last year I made a pretty big error that got caught! Opps!

  11. We just had a Kroger open up near our house, and it's seriously the best feeling ever when we get such great deals on gas prices! Everybody always asks me about taxes because I'm an accountant, but I don't deal with them. Turbo Tax is my best friend when it's time to pay our taxes!

  12. Gas for 0.91! SHUT UP! I really wish that we had a Kroger here. We've shopped at them out of town before and I always love them!

  13. So many great favorites, too! I love that Dustin just put his stuff in the closet. Like you said, at least it is off the floor! Any holy cow, spending that much for gas is awesome!!! Love all your store finds, too. Definitely all good additions.

  14. What is it with men and not putting stuff away?! I kid you not, my husband piles his dirty clothes right next to his side of the bed. Drives me nuts! I totally wish we had a Kroger around here, using points for gas would be amazing! Even though gas is really cheap around here right now (1.60!) it's no where near .90!!

  15. I am the same way with taxes! My husband has an envelope that he's collecting all of our tax stuff in as it comes in the mail to keep it all organized! Thank goodness for husbands! :) Have a great weekend!
